Obituary of Anna Maria Barriga

Barriga, Anna Maria age 85, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully January 22, 2020. Anna was born in the Czech Republic and raised in Germany. She fell in love with an American soldier originally from Chile and together they enjoyed a marriage of 59 years. She was a dedicated army wife working for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service for over twenty years before retiring in 1997. She was a beautiful, loving and loyal wife and mother and will forever be loved and missed by family and friends. Preceded in death by her eldest son Daniel. Survived by husband, Leonardo; children Cynthia and Charles, daughter-in-law Ruth, son-in-law Patrick and grandchildren Martina, Harrison and Leonardo. A private memorial service was held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota on January 29.
