Obituary of Sherrie Lynn Swanson

Sherrie Lynn Swanson, 58, of Duluth, MN died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Essentia/St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born June 27, 1961 in San Diego to Robert and Arline. The world has lost a shining light. Sherrie had a zest for life only found in few people. Her capacity to enjoy life and appreciate the little things in life and to love those she found near and dear, her positive attitude, her drive, her ability to overcome great obstacles in life, has inspired so many of us near and far. She was an incredible human being and will be missed by all but never forgotten. Sherrie is survived by fiancé, Michael Coon, her children Will and Anna (and Damian), Step-Father and Mother Carroll “Keck” and Arline, brothers and sisters Cindy, Nicole, Mary, Pam, Dawn, Drew, Grant and Joel. Sherrie was preceded in Death by her father Robert. A celebration of Sherries life will be held February 15, 2020 at the DECC, in the Harborside Room at noon. Sherrie loved the color purple, so we ask that you wear an item that is purple.
