Obituary of Cathy Ann Behning

Cathy Ann (Tarnowski) Behning- passed away at age 57 of natural causes at home on January 21, 2020. The daughter of Thomas Tarnowski and Joan M.(Loftus) Tarnowski of Chicago, Illinois. Cathy was passionate about cooking, gardening and sewing and loved the change of the seasons and watching birds at her home in Minnesota. Cathy grew up in Glendale Heights, Illinois, she was the life of the party, loved by many and would help anyone in need. Cathy will be joining many that have past before her including her daughter, Brittney Marie Behning, her father, Thomas Tarnowski, her nephew, Michael A. Behning and her Uncle, Thomas J. Loftus. Cathy leaves behind her children Daniel G. Behning, Tiffany (Barbour) Hockert, her husband Shawn Hockert, and Eddie Barbour and her life partner, Charles Barbour of 27 years and his children that she loved as her own, Charles Barbour, his wife Brittney Barbour  and Joe Barbour and Charles son Kyle Miller and her mother, Joan Tarnowski and siblings, Daniel Tarnowski, Cindy Tarnowski and Sandy (Tarnowski) Biangardi and grandchildren Quentin Behning and Nevaeh Behning and their mother Cassie Merrill and many nieces and nephew. She was loved and will be deeply missed. Memorial will be Saturday, February 8th 2020. From 11am to 4pm at the Marriott, 7025 Northland Drive North, Brooklyn Park, MN 55428.
