Obituary of Lola Mae Nelson

At the age of 96,Lola passes away on January 18 at Covenant Living of Golden Valley, of complications of a broken hip. She was born in Webster SD, May 13, 1923 to Chas and Myra Miller. She was raised on a farm near Eden SD and graduated from Webster HS class of 1940. She married Orlie Nelson, May 1, 1944 and resided in Golden Valley for 70 years. She loved gardening and garage sales and mowed her “back forty” until she was 90. Lola is survived by son Bruce, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Orlie, parents, brothers; Roy Miller and wife Helen, Don Miller and wife Alice and nephew Robin Miller.
