Obituary of Kenneth Neil Meinke

Kenneth Neil Meinke, age 83, died Saturday December 28, 2019 at his home in Cotton, Minnesota. He was born on March 7, 1936 in Portage, Wisconsin. Ken was united in marriage to Sally (McNaught) Meinke on September 23, 1967. The last 40 years they resided on Strand Lake. Ken was a firefighter and then worked in sales until he retired. Ken loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and always had a good story to tell. He will forever be loved and missed.

Ken is survived by his children Janeil (Steve) Crist of South Range, WI, Keith (Tracy) Meinke of Florida, Kelly (Lisa) Meinke of Florida, Debra Meinke of South Range, WI, Stacy (Mike) Wilson of Superior, WI, and Bill (Miki) Meinke of Okinawa, Japan. Siblings; Jack (Frankie) Meinke of Barnes, WI and Gail Rosenbaum of Bainbridge Island, Washington. Wife; Sally Meinke of Cotton, Minnesota. Grandchildren; Sierra, Amanda, Breanna, Arron, Bridgette, Lisa, Wayne, Hanna, Carley, Andy, and Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, step-father, father, two brothers, a sister, and his son.

Visitation: 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service February 8th at Cremation Society of Minnesota, Duluth. Service will be held by Pastor Christine Sabol.
