Obituary of Donald Dean Matteson

Matteson, Donald D. There is no death . . . only a change in worlds. Donald Matteson left this world on January 8, 2020. His passing was peaceful & comfort-able in his own home with his loving & caring wife Carole by his side. Don was employed at NSP for 37 years, then enjoyed years of retirement at his lake home in Aitkin. MN. Don lived a good long life filled with much love & laughter. It was a good run! He is preceded in death by his son Donald (Connie). He is survived by his wife Carole; daughter Kris (Bill); son Doug (Shira); stepdaughter Jennifer; 10 grandchildren & 5 great grandchil-dren. We take solace in knowing that he is at peace and continues to bless our world with his spirit and legacy. Our hearts are filled with gratitude to have had him in our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
