Obituary of Margaret (Peg) Ruby Rengo

Margaret (Peg) Ruby Rengo of Duluth passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born October 2, 1938 to Gertrude and Hilding Shogren. Peg graduated from Duluth Central in 1956. Peg was a dedicated employee for Northwood Children’s Services for 30 plus years retiring in 2014. Peg enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Peg was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Justin Loosen and longtime companion Mike Campanella.  She is survived by her children; Colleen (Art) Loosen, Mark (Lori) Rengo, Terri (Jeff) Jarvinen, Kent (Michelle) Rengo; grandchildren; Jordan Loosen, Jarred Loosen, Eric (Ashley Pavich) Rengo, Chris Rengo and Zack Rengo; 3 siblings; Judy Price, Nancy (Dave) Johnson, Craig (Patty) Shogren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer from St Luke’s Hospice along with the staff especially, Diane, at Diamond Willow Cloquet for their care and support through Peg’s illness.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 14th at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807 followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 am.
