Obituary of Betty Mae Paszak

Betty Mae Paszak, 86, of Hermantown, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Betty was born in Duluth August 21, 1933 to Carl and Evelyn Dahl. She graduated from Wrenshall High School in 1951. Betty married Bernard Paszak, Jr on January 26, 1952.

She worked as a cook at Hermantown Schools for 32 years and later worked at Sam’s Club for 10 years.

Betty was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and loved participating in their quilters club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Bernard; twin sons, Kenneth and Bruce; and brothers, Carl Jr, Milton and Richard.

Betty is survived by her sons, Michael (Debbie) and Dale; grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew (Amanda), Jodie (James) Schultz, Lindsay (David Riddle), Kyle Barefoot, and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Mason and Reagan; brother, Jack (Janice) Dahl; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Edgewood Memory Care and Caring Edge Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Betty.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Celebration of Life, Saturday, January 18 at Grace Lutheran Church, 5454 Miller Trunk Hwy, in Hermantown.
