Obituary of Ronald D. Kope

Ronald D. Kope, age 81, of Duluth, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 after a three month battle with cancer.

He was born August 10. 1938 in Angola, Indiana to Guy and Melba Kope. Ronald received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a manufacturing engineer and enjoyed wood working, especially making furniture.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Pamela; five children, Karla Wright, Lynette Markey both of Lincoln, NE, David Duffy, Derek Kope and Melinda Vargas all of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Maya, Kai and Declan; and a sister, Willa Davis of Angola, IN.

The family extends a special thank you to Gary Kope.
