I met Scott about two years ago through my work in corporate chaplaincy (CCA). The owners of the company where he worked live in WI and know one of our chaplains. When they learned about his illness, they asked if CCA has a chaplain in MN who could connect with Scott. It was a privilege for me to get to know Scott and his family. He and I had many great conversations, usually over a cup of coffee. The most important topic we discussed related to faith in God and the promise of Christ to give spiritual comfort to every person who turns to Him by faith (Matthew 11:28-30).
