I miss you and your beautiful smile, my friend,,, my sometimes dance partner... I will never eat ribs or mac and cheese, xmas cookies, or latkes, raise a glass of cheer without thinking of you. You were as honest as a naked babe and I love you for that, and as generous and loving as only a mother can be. We cared for each other and became part of a bigger family - growing things, (who will teach me how to pull my Rhubarb this summer and encourage my helter skelter gardening ?) connecting with people, laughing and loving life with each other. Thank you for all the support and joy you brought to me and my family. We love you forever and a day, MJ.. there will never be another you - Give my love to Saba

To Jody, Kim, Pat, Mike and the Bergholtz family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I grew up 1 house away from Mary Jo and her family. We always had a great time. We hung out all the time as kids, then as we all started moving away we lost contact with each other. I would see Mary Jo and family at the Booya's at Highland Park. My how time flies. God was looking for a new Angel and brought Mary Jo home. May she rest in peace.

"MJ" will be remembered for her laughter, smile, and warm personality. She will be missed dearly by her extended family and friends. We send our sincerest condolences to my brother Robert, nephew Bobby, and nieces Cassie and Jillian. Your mom is forever in our hearts. I am so very very sorry to hear of the loss of cousin MaryJo. Just looking at her beautiful smile in this photo shows me what a beautiful loving soul she was, and it also reminds me of her Mom, Auntie Rosie as I remember her in her younger years. I pray for Mary Jo’s family to find solace in the beautiful memories of Mary Jo that you hold close to your heart. May God bless you all.
