Ryshavy, Eddie age 83, Plymouth, died December 4 of Pancreatic Cancer. Preceded by parents, Ben & Edith Ryshavy, sister, Carol, parents-in-law, Barney & Dorothy Corens. Survived by beloved wife, Mim (Marion), much-loved kids and grandkids: daughter Beth (Michael) Greenberg, sons Chris (Lucky), Rick (Christine), Mark (Susan), grandkids: Hannah (Mason), Ben, Rob, and Marianne Greenberg, Taylor, Brityn, Ryne, Ryan, and Griffin Ryshavy, Logan and Kobe Patch. Brother Jim (Karla), sister, Deanne (Bob) LaMere, Corens family who loved him like a brother, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. Earned his B.S. at U of M, M.S. St. Cloud State, Specialist U of M, D.Ed. U of AR. Spent his entire 33 year career in the Hopkins School District: Sixth Grade Teacher at Oak Knoll School, Principal at Gatewood and Glen Lake. Loved golf, the Vikings, Twins, watching games and activities of kids and grandkids, traveling, especially cruises. Fanatic about his yard and exercise. At age 50, ran the Twin Cities Marathon. Gifted speaker and writer, with many articles printed in the Star Tribune Opinions. Celebration of Life at St. Mary of the Lake, Plymouth, at 11:00 on January 3. Visitation at 10:00. Lunch at Hopkins High School Cafeteria, 2400 Lindbergh Dr., Minnetonka. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Interfaith Outreach or Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.
