Obituary of Dr. Steven Matthews

of Blooomington, MN, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on December 8, 2019 surrounded by family.  He was born on February 9, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1966.  He served proudly as a Captain in the Air Force in Anchorage, AK and retired from his private dental practice in 2007.  He was an Eagle Scout, loved the outdoors, golf and photography.  He enjoyed traveling and cherished his time with family and friends.  He is preceded in death by parents, Morris and Kathryn; and sister, Terry.  Survived by sister, Nancy; children, Diane, Jeff, Julie (Jaren); their mother, Bonnie; grandchildren, Nathan, Emily and Noah; nieces and nephews; family and friends.  Private celebration of life to be held by family.
