Obituary of Esther White

Esther White, age 93, of Bloomington, passed away on December 4, 2019. Preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill”. Survived by her six children: Jeff (Debbie) White, Dave White, Jan (Steve) Friend, Lindy (Billy) LeClaire, Gail (Bruce) Kleckner, Kelly White (Phil Jones); eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Bisbee and Janet Hieb and brother, Glen Thieling. Esther was born on a farm in North Dakota, the ninth of ten children. She attended nursing school at Bismark Hospital, graduating in 1950. Moved to Minneapolis and worked at Swedish Hospital. In 1956, Esther and Bill bought a home in Bloomington and she lived there until this year. For 22 years, Esther volunteered at Southdale Hospital. Macular Degeneration took away her ability to enjoy reading, crossword puzzles and walking. No services. Private interment.
