Obituary of Oscar Charles Zweig

ZWEIG, Oscar "Babe" Charles, born March 27, 1933 in Edmunds, SD.  Died Dec. 7, 2019 in Blaine, at the age of 86.  "Big O" retired in 1994 from Northwest Automatics in Mpls.  Avid hunter and loved to fish and spend time at the cabin at the lake in Garrison. Member of Wealthwood Rod & Gun Club in Aitkin until 2016. Preceded in death by his long-time companion, Phyllis; his daughters mother, Mary Zweig; grandsons, Ryan Rutledge and Shane Casler; sister, Lorraine Hokkala; brother, Paul Zweig.  Survived by daughters, Roxanne (Gary) Rutledge, Josie Kindvall, Luanne Casler, Dianne (Rob) Riedel, Brenda (Tim) Lahr; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Johnson, Helen Shook; brother, Marvin Zweig; Phyllis’ daughter, Kathy (Brad) Schurman; many relatives and good friends.  Visitation 10am Friday, Dec 13th with 11am Memorial Service at First Memorial Funeral Home/ Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park (763-560-3100) www.cremationsocietyofmn.com
