Obituary of Randy David Pauna

Randy David Pauna, 59, of Rice Lake, MN passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019, in his home.

Randy was born in Duluth on February 9, 1960 to Lester and Carol Pauna.

He graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1978. In 1979, he married his high school sweetheart, Rita Aus.

Randy was a long-term employee of Essentia St. Mary’s Medical Center. He enjoyed fishing, watching and playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita; and mother, Carol.

Randy is survived by his sons, David (Ann Silverness), and Eric; grandchildren, Matthew, Talia, Melody, and Onyx; father, Lester; siblings, Gary (Bonnie), Cheryl (Gary) Olson, Kevin (Cheryl), James (Jodi), and Dan (Lisa); and special friend, Sue Larson.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, December 19, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave, in Duluth.
