Obituary of John Charles Nesseth

On Friday, December 6th, 2019 John C. Nesseth passed away at the Benedictine Health Center in Duluth, MN at the age of 77.

John was born on May 28th, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MN to Melvin and Claribel Nesseth. He attended Northome High School. John worked as a maintenance supervisor at Azcon Corp. and then at Bayside Recycling in Duluth before retiring in October, 2011. John married Jeannette L. Leseman on July 16th, 1960 and together they had 3 children. 

John will be fondly remembered for his love of family and friends, his fun-loving easy manner, his ability to fix anything and his ambition and dedication in all of his pursuits. 

John is preceded in death by his father Melvin, his mother Claribel, his nephews Joseph and James, and his niece Margo.  He is survived by his wife Jeannette, his children Daniel (Eilene), Torri (Brad), Melissa (Brian), his grandchildren Derek (Anna), Tanya (Heath), Brooke, Ryan, Hannah and Halle, his great grandchildren Blake, Leland, Caleb, Alena, Beau and Eli, his brother Darrel (Sharon), his sisters Gail (Al), Susan (James) and Rena (James), and his many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 2-3pm, followed by a memorial service at 3pm, Thursday, December 12th, at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue in Duluth, MN.
