Obituary of Joan Nelson

Nelson, Joan Age 89, of Mpls, MN went to heaven peacefully on Wed Nov 20th. Joan is now reunited with her husband of 64 great years, Manny Nelson, who passed in 2017. She had a real passion for the Lord through her service to the Presbyterian Church, at work and through her family. She spent every summer since childhood at her favorite place in the world, the family cabin on Burntside Lake in Ely, MN. Joan is beloved and remembered by her brother and wife, Richard and Mary, two daughters, Jeanette and Jane, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Please join us to remember and celebrate this wonderful woman on Monday, December 9th at Hope Presbyterian in Richfield for 10 am visitation, with an 11 am service and lunch. Grandma Joan is home with the Lord and Manny and will live on through all who met her.
