He served at Colonial Church as a deacon, head of the music board and for many years as a Sunday school teacher. He was proud of his Swedish heritage and was an active member in the Swedish Genealogical Society of Minnesota. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean war. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, he worked in Finance for General Motors Aerospace in Milwaukee for 10 years and Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis for 30 years proudly contributing to the Space programs and our nation's defense. Survived by loving wife of 67 years Kathy (Kathleen), sons Larry and Tom (Cindy), daughter-in-law Jodi, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and an extended loving family.
