Obituary of Barbara Anne Wienke

Barb Wienke 73, of Duluth,MN passed away surrounded by family on 11/27/19, after battling cancer. Barb was a proud Elder member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Tribe. Barb was preceded by her father Clement Beargrease, mother Pearl Cole (William), son Jonathan Wienke, and infant child. Brother Michael Rindal, Special Aunt/Uncle Inez/Peter Rindal, Sister-in-law Renata Rindal, Grandmother Lydia Winquist, and ex-husband Daryl Olson. Barb is survived by her son Michael Olson, Daughters Sherri Olson, and Jo Anne Wienke. Grandchildren Tyler, Cassandra, Tanner and one great grandchild. Ex-husband Gregory Wienke, brother Larry Rindal, Sister Bonnie(Dan) Potthoff, and Sister-in-law Dee Gokee-Rindal. Numerous Special nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws from IL, WI, and MN. Special friends from Fond du Lac tribe and her pride and Joy Mr. Sparks “Pee Wee”, Princess, and Puppy Sue.

Memorial Service Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN.
