Paula Kay Ruhl

Paula Kay Ruhl, age 63, a longtime Burnsville resident, passed away on November 3, 2019. Paula was born in Minneapolis, MN on November 20, 1955 to Clinton and Patricia (Engeman) Ruhl. She was the youngest of four children. Paula lived in Minneapolis until moving to Burnsville over 30 years ago. She worked in the Human Resource field for many years. Various health issues caused her to cut back and eventually retire, over 10 years ago. Paula and her mom, Pat, lived together for 20 years, until this past spring when Pat’s health required her to move to an assisted living facility. Paula’s greatest joy was spending time with her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Laurie. Survived by sister, Candi (Don) Fabre, brother, Gary Ruhl; nephews, Jeff (Amanda) Blue and Jared Ruhl; niece, Jenna (Bobby) Bonine; great-nephews, Kaleb Ruhl and Jackson Blue; great-nieces, Saijha Kleis, Leighton and Barrett Bonine; uncle, Terry (Karen) Engeman; several cousins and special friends Beth and Debbie. Laurie, Pat and Paula are finally together again. Showing up an hour (or more) late for everything and laughing, with no excuses, as they come through the door. Memorial service will be Sunday, November 24th at 2:00 PM with visitation starting 1-hour prior at Cremation Society of Minnesota,7110 France Ave. So., Edina, MN 55435.
