Obituary of Phyllis Pauline Wood

Born to Condol and Leota Wood in Algona, IA. They moved to Marietta in 1956. Phyllis attended schools: Marietta, Bellingham, and graduated from Madison in 1971. She graduated from Anoka Vo- Tech with her LPN degree and Metropolitan Community College with her RN degree. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, attending MN Twin’s activities, and spending time with her family. Phyllis was a dedicated nurse that worked nights as a critical care flyer. She had a great passion for quilting and passed that love to many family members.

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce Wood, Sisseton, SD, Alice (Scott) Rickson, Corcoran, MN, and Lana Wood (Kevin Marjamaki), Shakopee, MN; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Rickson (Jess Sheridan), Julie Murray (Charlie Corrin), Greta (Chad) Henderson, Daniel (Amanda) Schlick and  great- nieces, Desi, Angel, Mikayla, Chloe, Madison and Addison; great-nephew, Aidon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 16^th at 1:00 PM at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 10025 Brockton Ln N., Corcoran with visitation a 12:00 PM.
