Obituary of Jeffrey Martin Wedin
Jeffrey Martin Wedin, 60, of Saginaw, MN passed away November 9, 2019, peacefully at home due to natural causes. Jeff was born March 10, 1959 in Duluth, MN to Gordon Wedin Sr. and Blanche Wedin. He graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School in 1977. He married the love of his life, Tammy Newman on August 9, 1980. They spent 39 wonderful years together. Jeff was a great carpenter which consisted of building homes while also maintaining his rental properties for many years. He also worked at the Lake Superior Warehouse as a Long Shoreman. Jeff loved driving his ‘69 Chevy Camaro that he has owned since 18 years old. In addition to that, he was extremely proud of his barn style hunting shack that he built. He enjoyed spending time there hunting, snowmobiling and four wheeling with friends and family. Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, brother Norman “Sparky” Wedin, sister Dorothy “Dodo” Rosas, brothers Russell Wedin, and Gordon Wedin Jr.. He is survived by his brother Ronald Wedin of Las Vegas, sister Della Steffen of Duluth, nephew Douglas (Cindy) Rosas of Duluth, Tommi Wedin of Birmingham, AL, Mickie Wedin of Duluth, mother and father in-law Dennis and Mary Lou Telega of Duluth, wife Tammy Wedin of Saginaw, son Chad Wedin of Saginaw, daughter Kaylee Gist of Cloquet, daughter Kaira (Rocky) Pihlaja of Duluth, Jon Gist of Cloquet, grandchildren Laynee & Tate Gist, Waylon Pihlaja and many brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of a funeral service, please join us for a celebration of life at The Cloquet Bar & Lounge (1914 Cloquet Ave.) on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 6:00pm.
