Ivy, Christopher Kohman

Born Feb. 6, 1953; died Nov. 2, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Dr. HK (Bud) and Shirley Meyer Ivy of Rochester, MN. Beloved son, brother, and cousin, he is survived by brothers, David (Anna Borland) Ivy of Homer, AK and Peter (Susan) Ivy of Carver, MN; cousins, Alfred (Peggy) Jones of Eau Claire, WI and Marie (Steve) Magnelio of Austin, TX. Christopher was an artistic, kind, sweet, and gentle soul who will be missed by many. Sincere appreciation for the entire staff of The Villa at Bryn Mawr in Minneapolis for the wonderful care they provided him. Special thanks to the Hennepin Health Care Hospice Team who brightened Christopher’s final days with care and comfort. A shout out to Pastor Bob Haskin for all his years of friendship. Private family service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
