John Russell Saxby, age 80, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2019. John was preceded in death by parents, William and Zelda (Helferich) Saxby; sisters and brother-in-law, Esther (Saxby) Kuntzelman, Wilma (Saxby) and Wally Kilker.

John is survived by wife, Delaine (Vohlken) Saxby; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (Saxby) and Justin (Jay) Bartholomew; son Adam Saxby; grandchildren, Haley and Aiden; brothers and sister-in-laws, Don and Sandy Saxby, Bill Saxby Jr., Eugene Paul and Libby Saxby; other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. John served in the Marines for 13 years, including two tours in the Vietnam War.

Please join us in celebrating John’s life on Sunday November 3, 2019 at 1:30pm at The Temple of ECK, 7450 Powers Blvd., Chanhassen, MN, where a memorial service and light reception will be held. John will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Monday November 4, 2019 at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Eckankar or the family.
