Obituary of Ray Edward Peltier

Ray Edward Peltier, 85, of Cloquet, MN passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at St. Luke‘s Hospital in Duluth, MN. Ray was born to Raynold and Elna Peltier in Milwaukee WI. And grew up in Duluth MN.

Ray had an adventurous life doing many things along the way. One of his main jobs early on was heavy equipment operator. He was drafted into the Army and again, worked heavy equipment on the Germany rebuilding tour. It was there that he met his wife Heide.

Ray worked hard and eventually became a pilot flying both planes and helicopters. He ended his flying career as a pilot for Minnesota Power and Light in Duluth.

Ray had many passions including sailing the wooden boat he built, his woodworking, playing guitar, horseback riding, skiing, traveling and biking.

Ray was a loving and caring Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather and his humor always brought a smile to anyone he met as he graced you with a story.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 58 years Heide Peltier, his daughter Anita Peltier, and his son Eric Peltier along with his wife Lise. Also 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Ray had a long happy life and has requested no service be held.
