David Leonard Hesse

Age 74 of Coon Rapids, MN passed away peacefully on October 3, 2019.

Born in Robbinsdale, MN.  Graduate of Roosevelt H.S. (1964).  US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. Dave was a longtime truck mechanic and supervisor at Hyman Freightways. Afterwards, he retired from Minneapolis Public Schools as a janitor engineer. Dave enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, his family, and his friends. Preceded in death parents, Norman and Mae; brother, Ronald; Lisa and Jim’s mother, Sheila Logan. Survived by children, Lisa (Larry) Anderson and James Hesse; granddaughters, Chloe and Kayla; great grandson, Beau Anderson; brothers, Larry and Mark; other relatives and many friends. Services and interment will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Dad was truly loved and will be missed by all of us.
