Obituary of Barry "Bog Man" Anderson

Barry “Bog Man” Anderson, 87, of Iron River, former Duluth resident, passed away October 2, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Barry was born Sept. 1, 1932 in Duluth, MN to Elizabeth and Frank Anderson. He had been a Duluth resident for most of his life, living in Iron River, WI for the past 22 years.

Barry married Florence “Flossie” Kilcollins on Oct. 6, 1951 in Duluth. He retired from Diamond Tool in 1997 when he then moved to Iron River and took pleasure in spending time with family and friends. He loved putzing around his property and watching his great grandchildren grow up on what he had built. Barry was reunited in death with his beloved wife of 51 years; sons Barry, Gregg and Bryan (B.A.); daughter Linda Raatz; daughter-in-law Mary; and his brother Loren.

Survivors include his children Kathy (Kevin) Anderson, Bonnie Grondahl, James Anderson and son-in-law Gene Raatz; foster brother Jim (Gladys) Foldesi; grandchildren Morgan, Eric, Matthew, Breanna, Tarissa and Greg; and many adored great grandkids, nieces & nephews and his buddy, Terry.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday,

Oct. 12, 2019 from 3-6pm at Judy’s Drift Inn, 68330 N. Main St., Iron River, WI.
