Obituary of Karen Marie Nolan

Karen M. Nolan passed away on September 29, 2019, at the age of 76. She was born February 21st, 1943 to James and Marie (Weston) Milchesky in Baraboo, WI. She moved to Superior at a young age and graduated from Superior Central High School in 1961.

Karen married Dennis Nolan on February 14th, 1970. Karen worked for Superior Saving and Loan for many years. She was a stay at home mom until her sons were in school then started her own business as a personal aide helping elderly in their homes.

Karen was a member of The Eagles Club of Superior and enjoyed spending time at The Senior Center. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Cooking Channel and loved to bake delicious treats.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, her parents, brother Jim, and her beloved dog Koko.

Karen is survived by her sons, Sean, of Pattison Park, WI and Eric (Ann) of Saginaw, MN, brother Tom (Shirley) Milchesky of Superior, three grandsons, Jason, Tyler and Caleb, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Twin Ports Health Services for the wonderful care of our mom.

Gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, October 5th from 3 to 5 pm at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN.
