Obituary of Patricia Lucielle Weber

Patricia Lucille (McArthur) (Bronken) Weber “Pee Wee,” age 86, passed away on September 23, 2019. She passed away peacefully at home, with her husband John by her side. Patricia was truly an Angel to everyone who knew her.

Patricia was born July 11, 1933 to Dorothy (McArthur) (Bronken) Kuster and step-father Sewell Bronken, in Minneapolis, MN. She was an enrolled member of the Mississippi River Band of Chippewa of the White Earth Reservation.

Pat graduated from Mahnomen High School in 1952. She attended Sacred Heart School of Nursing at Yankton, South Dakota and graduated with an Asst. Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Pat entered the St. Benedictine Convent as Sister DeSales O.S.B. After leaving the convent Pat was introduced to John Weber who she later married on April 23, 1966 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mahnomen, MN.

Pat Retired in 1989 after 37 years of being a RN Charge Nurse. She worked at the following hospitals in Northern Minnesota during her nursing career, Red Lake Falls, Crookston, Detroit Lakes, Mahnomen and at the Virginia Hospital for 24 years.

Pat always held great love and joy for her husband John, her grandchildren and her family. She could never pass up a garage sale, on occasion she would get lost but was always shown the way home again. Some of Pat’s favorite pastimes included playing bingo, listening to music, going out to eat, shopping, fishing and attending family parties. She had a great love for her pets, her dogs, cats and cockatiel birds.

Patricia was proceeded in death by her infant son, Wally John Weber; granddaughter, TyLeen T. Weber; her mother, Dorothy Kuster; step-father, Sewell Bronken; sister, Carol Ann Thompson, and brother-in-law, Duane Thompson.

Patricia is survived by her dear husband of 53 years, John H. Weber; son, Gerry (Tonia) Weber; and grandson, Garisen Weber of Canyon, MN.

She will be cremated at the Cremation Society of Minnesota. There will be no services, there will be a gathering of family and close friends.
