Obituary of Bob White

Robert “Bob” L. White, age 75, of Duluth, MN passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in St. Luke’s Hospice. He was born January 20, 1944 in Eveleth, MN to Harold and Kathleen White. He attended Denfeld High School. Bob married Barbara J. Fjone, October 5, 1960 in Mason City, Iowa. He was an Operating Engineer for Local 49. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved being at his cabin and spending time with his two grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brothers “Skeeter” and Ernie White and by special nephew Mark Flood. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara; sons Dale (Cindy) White, Ron White, daughter Bobbie White; grandchildren Michael White and Celeste LaFreniere; sisters Grace (Bill) Flood, Pat (Bill) Wilkerson; many nieces and nephews and his dog Riley.

A special thanks to St. Luke’s Hospice, St. Luke’s Home Health Care staff, and Dr. Nichole Schaefer. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 3 at 11:00 am at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1924 Wyoming Ave., Superior, WI, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Pastor Loren Anderson-Baur will be officiating.
