I am completely shocked to hear of Barbara's passing. We swam together over at Edinborough for a number of years until I moved to Florida 3 years ago. I was blessed to see her in concert once and was hoping to get to more of them since I'm now back in Minnesota. I can't tell you how sorry I am that I won't see her at the pool in the future. It just doesn't seem possible! Please know my prayers and thoughts are with her family for strength in the days to come. Peace be with you all.

I met Barbara in March 2010 when hired at US Bank. Not only did we coach and mentor each other but became good friends. What I admired about Barbara was her honesty and integrity; a very intelligent, talented, graceful and caring individual who will be sorely missed.

My sincerest condolences to the Lee family. I met her several years ago at United Church of God, but haven't seen her lately.. In recent years we reconnected through Facebook. Her latest post was about the community band group photo. She enjoyed participating in their concerts every summer and kept us all updated on the schedule.
Barb was too young. She will be missed. She sleeps in the arms of Our LORD awaiting the resurrection.

My condolences and deep sympathy, love and prayers for your family. The last time I was able to see Barb was at Amy Hargarten's funeral. I had a nice chat with Barbara, where I learned that at that time, she was a business analyst like me. I admired her so very much - she presented such a competent, calm and collected presence, but also she had a glow of happiness that I distinctly remember. As a woman, she set a great example of making the most of her gifts. Although not able to be in touch over the years, the Lee family was always a favorite of mine when I lived in Minneapolis. I'm so sorry for the sudden loss, especially for her mother Heinke. You are all in my thoughts at this sad time.

Barbara was an enthusiastic and talented girl. She served others in many ways with her musical talents. I enjoyed my occasion friendship with her over the years. We played together in the Wisconsin Dells Festival Orchestra several times over the years. I invited her one year to play with the dance band I put together. She was a devoted daughter in caring for her mother. I will miss here.

I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know Barbara at U.S. Bank over the past 8 years. She was one of the most selfless, kind, thoughtful, and engaged women that I have known. I join you all in my sadness at hearing of the very sudden death of Barbara. We graduated from GHS together in 1983; I was a singer and Barb, of course, a musician. In recent years, we reconnected through Facebook and had the pleasure of seeing one another at our most recent HS reunion. She was very encouraging to me after my diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer and it was a joy to be able to encourage each other in our faith. We have just heard the news and our Family is so very sorry that Barbara's life was cut short and so suddenly.
She was a servant of God in many ways. Barbara strived to live up to the training received from her lovely Mother and Father. To the Lee Family:
