Kathy was born in Worthington, MN to Matthew & Agnes Gerber. She grew up in Wilmont,MN. She had 13 brothers & sisters.
She met & married Homer Krull. She gave birth to 6 children: Sandy, Sherri, Bob, Steve, Brenda & Alan. She had 9 grandkids: Nick, John, Beau, Jesse, Bobbi, Morgan, Miles, Brock & Rylan.
She loved country music, homemade pizzas, hotdish, singing, people watching, & going to the cabin.
The Cabin: listening to Elvis at dockside, going to Gooseberry Island, channel cruises in the late afternoon, sitting around the bonfire, snacks on the lower deck, drinks on the upper deck, sitting on the dock hearing loons, bocce ball, grilling, supervising the fireworks(ok maybe just yelling), watching the grandkids enjoy themselves
Mom was a great cook...hotdishes extraordinaire, lasagna, pepper steak, spaghetti, sloppy joes-with six kids you always had a smorgasbord of food.... looking back we were so spoiled. No matter what if she was in the kitchen you would hear her singing.
What a wonderful example of what a mother should be. Kathy was the kool-aid mom of the neighborhood. She always had room for one more at suppertime. Always smiling and supportive we were blessed to have her for our mom!
It's a comfort knowing that she is now with Homer/Dad & Bob along with other loved ones. Heaven got a good one!
Thanks for letting us enjoy the time we had with her.
