Ron was born on June 17, 1947 in St. Paul, Minnesota, to the late Angelo and Mary Jane Ciccone.  He was the second oldest of six children.  Ronald attended St. Paul Central High School and was a graduate in 1965.  Ron married Gloria Ciccone (Helfmann) in 1969 and together they raised four children.  Ron professed his faith in Christ at a young age and journeyed with Jesus up until his last breath.

Ron took pride in his love for family.  In his adult life he developed a passion for golf and Hot rods.  He found limitless joy in buying and selling antiques.  Ron was the founding editor of the “Did You Know?” article in the MSRA magazine.

Ron found great purpose in caring for the hundreds of employees in several companies over the years, including, 7-11 stores, Carpet King, and Home Valu Interiors (formally Plywood Minnesota).  Over the last 6 years Ron followed a high calling transporting vulnerable, gifted children and teenagers, to various visitations and after school programs with Frontier Transportation.  These children gave Ron such joy and reflection.  Ron loved people and his life defined servant leadership.

Ron leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Gloria; children, Tim (Maria), Tom, Steve, Elizabeth (Matthew); 7 beautiful grandchildren, 5 wonderful siblings, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We will miss you Papa…On to glory…
