Obituary of Paul Edward Nymark

Nymark, Paul Edward age 87 of Eden Prairie, MN passed away peacefully Sunday, June 23, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Nymark. Devoted and loving father of son John (Amy); proud grandfather to John Paul (JP) , Mary Charlotte (fiancé Brian Cappelle) and Jamie Ellen Nymark. US Army veteran; Paul earned his Bachelor's of Business degree at the University of Minnesota, where he met Barbara, the love of his life and wife of 58 years. Paul made a difference in peoples' lives as a successful entrepreneur, business owner, investor and advisor. He was a natural leader and negotiator. Paul was President and Owner of the staffing firm Gopher Employment in downtown Minneapolis in 1957, which is now The NYCOR Group. Paul started several more companies and remained active as Chairman throughout his life. Paul was President of the MN State Staffing Association, Board of Directors of the National Association and served on the Governor's Advisory Board. Paul and Barbara enjoyed travelling the world. They became snowbirds and lived the winters at their second home in Bonita Springs, FL., where they made many lifelong friends. Paul was an avid golfer, hunter and outdoorsman. Hunting in North Dakota over 40 years each fall with son John was a highlight for both of them, filled with great friends and rich memories. Paul loved entertaining, luxury and sports cars, real estate and travelling. Paul is remembered for his zest for life, his generosity, intelligence, uncompromising integrity, loyalty and dedication to loved ones and friends. His illuminating, 'light up the room' smile and charm will be missed greatly. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., visitation starting at 1:00 on August 8, 2019 at First Memorial Edina Chapel, 7110 France Avenue S., Edina, MN 55435.
