Obituary of Ruth E Brooks

RUTH E BROOKS, age 92, of Golden Valley MN, passed away at home on Saturday, July 27th.  Preceded in death by her husband, Donald E Brooks; Brothers – William Manley, John Manley, and Alfred (Bud) Manley.  Survived by her Daughters:  Kathy of Golden Valley MN & Barbara of Robbinsdale MN, her beloved Grandchildren – Mikael (Cheri) of Big Lake MN, Matthew (Andria) of Brooklyn Park MN, Aimee of Robbinsdale MN & Ashlie of Maple Grove MN, her adored Great Grandchildren – Riley & Charlie, Lucas & Valerie, Shelby & Asher and Landen & Lexi.  Ruth is also survived by her Sisters – Evelyn Marie Berryman of Prior Lake MN and Maxine Banks of Crab Orchard KY and her brother David of Corcoran MN as well as many nieces and nephews.  According to Ruth’s adamant wishes there will be no memorial service or funeral.  Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery beside her husband Donald in Bloomington MN.  Ruth’s daughters, Kathy & Barb would like to thank the Park Nicollet Hospice Team for their very kind and gracious care of Ruth during her last days.  Very special thank you from the family to her hospice team of Nina Ryan, Talia Schumacher and Ulissa Evans.   We love you Grandma and we will miss you.
