Obituary of Patricia C Bentilla

Bentilla, Patricia C., of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully Tues, July 23rd . Patricia was born to Edith (Lamboy) and Wm. F. Pinter, Sr.  in Milwaukee. The growing family soon moved to suburban West Allis where they prospered for 50 years. During her college years Patricia met and married Michael Havlik. Michael's career in the defense industry brought moves to Arizona and California before settling in Minnesota where the marriage was blessed with two sons. Patricia later married Larry Bentilla enjoying more than 35 years together. Patricia loved photography, especially taking pictures of her family, the family did not always cooperate, and now we are blessed with many photos of our past which we will greatly cherish. She was especially proud of her profession as a social worker and advocating for the children. In addition, she was equally proud of the sobriety she celebrated for over 40 years. In retirement, Patricia loved traveling to Mexico in the winters and spending the summers in Duluth where she enjoyed Lake Superior. She also loved her family and grandchildren and never answering the question, “Who’s your favorite?” She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Paul. Patricia will be greatly missed by her husband, Larry, sons, Richard (Becky Hansen) Havlik and Robert (Jill) Havlik, grandchildren, David, Stephen (Grace), Jonathan, Hailey, and Faith, great grandchildren, Ezra and Elijah, sister, Karen Talarczyk, brother, Chuck Pinter, sister-in-law, Sandra (Mike) Cragg, brother-in-law, Jack Bentilla, many other relatives, and good friends. A Celebration of Life for Patricia will be Sat, Aug 10, 2019 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota (4343 Nicollet Ave, Mpls) from 2pm to 5pm.
