Obituary of Howard Roy Bohanon

Howard “Howie” Bohanon, 73, our very own Santa, passed away on 7/24/2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Adele Bohanon. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Sue, daughters: Lezlie (Amy) Bohanon, Tracy (Bob) Freitag; stepchildren: Brooke (Greg) Moore, Brandon (Alanna) Liffrig; grandchildren: Kelsie, Jack, Vinny, Carson, Maeley, Maverick, Quinlyn; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Nancy (Tom) Berger, and many nieces and nephews. Papa HoHo embodied all the qualities you’d expect of Santa. He was jolly, magical, and humble. He was accepting of all. He always knew how to put a smile on our face and how to make everyone laugh. His love and laughter did not end with his death, they will live on in all those his life touched. May his Santa spirit of giving people what they need, when they need it most, live on in us all.
