Obituary of Phyllis R. Wachutka

Age 67, of Chanhassen, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 22, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Philip and Inez Thinesen and infant sister, Peggy.  Phyllis worked for many years in the insurance, counseling and healthcare industries.  She loved animals (owned four papillons over the years), music, many artistic endeavors and reading.  All admired her sharp wit, compassion for others and strength of character.  Survived by husband Bruce; daughters Erin (Nick) Johnson and Colleen Nadas. Grandchildren Peyton Gasta, and Xander, Maddox and Draven Nadas.  Brothers Paul (Colleen) Thinesen, Philip (Joyce) Thinesen, Perry (Joyce) Thinesen and sister Pamela Thinesen; many other relatives and friends.  Memorial Service, Wednesday July 31, 2019 at 11 AM, with Visitation at 10 AM and Reception to follow at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435.
