Obituary of Irene Lucille Julin

Irene Lucille Julin, 86, of Proctor, MN, died July 23, 2019 at her home. Irene was born June 2, 1933 to Art and Selma Fredenburg in Bemidji, MN, and grew up in Solway, MN. She met Ernest Julin, fell in love and they married in 1950 and had 3 children, Gayle (Joel) Ziells, Randy Julin, and Joan (Doug) Terry. They spent many years camping, fishing and traveling. Irene’s family meant everything to her. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest in 1998, her parents, and her brother Richard “Dick” Fredenburg. She is survived by her children, Gayle, Randy, and Joan. Five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was so blessed and so loved by all of them including her nieces and nephew, whom she loved. Funeral service will be, Saturday, July 27th at 11:00 AM, at a First Memorial Chapel and Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, MN 55807. Burial at Sunrise Cemetery in Duluth.
