Obituary of Mary Felker

Felker, Mary Age 78, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2019. Mary was a graduate of Fort Dodge High School and Drake University with a degree in Elementary Education. She worked in the Rochester and Wayzata schools as a 1st grade teacher. Mary also spent 18 years working at the TLC daycare center. She loved teaching young children, taking winter vacations to the Caribbean and spending time with her grandchildren. They loved playing games together, making art projects, and watching movies. She had a kind spirit and genuine heart that will be missed by all who knew her. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Reverend John; mother, Mildred; brothers, John and Cooper; and husband, Larry. She is survived by her daughters, Heather (Jason) and Heidi (James); and 4 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held July 24th at 11am at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 13501 Sunset Trail, Plymouth, MN with a lunch immediately following, and interment at Fort Snelling at 2:30. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Christ Memorial Lutheran Church.
