Obituary of Richard Carl Lien

Richard Carl Lien, age 80, of Apple Valley, passed away July 10, 2019 after complications from lung cancer treatment. Dick was born March 17, 1939 in Austin, MN. After graduating from Austin High School, he served four years in the US Navy. He received his engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. Dick was self employed as a sales rep in the heating & air conditioning field. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, golf, reading & spending time with family & friends. Dick is survived by Mary - his wife of 54 years; daughters, Carrie Sue (Steve) & Kellie (Eric); son, Tim (Beth); five grandchildren, and a host of friends & relatives. A celebration to honor Dick will take place in several weeks. Memorials preferred.
