Arlis Maxine Haukedahl Froysland

Age 97, of Burnsville, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2019 in her home. Arlis was happily married to Gordy for 44 years and they raised 3 daughters in Dilworth, MN. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, telling stories and being involved and leading many church activities, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Arlis was famous for her caramel rolls, Krumkake, and her hot fudge. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her faith was her touchstone. Survived by her daughters; Vonnie Kahnert, Linda (Mike) Raub, and Nancy Froysland (Scott) Hoerl, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grand-children and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Arlis will be missed by many. Celebration of Arlis’ life will take place Monday, July 29, 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, MN with a gathering of friends and family at 10:00 am. Memorials in Arlis’ name may be made to: HEIFER INTERNATIONAL, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, AK 72202. Interment will be at the Audubon Cemetery on August 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
