Obituary of Joan Marie Farley

Passed to her eternal reward on Sunday, July 7, 2019 surrounded by family who lovingly shared her cancer journey. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 58 1/2 years, Pat-rick, and six sons, their spouses, and children: Gregory—Meghan (Matt), Connor (Briana), Dillon (Kelsee); Tim and Jenny—Mike (Kara), Peter, Lauren; Kevin and Suzanne—Kate (Jamie), Nick, Hannah; Michael and Julie—Heather, Mary; Brian and Kara—Kallie, Alex, Jacob, Abbie; Dan and Katy—Anna, Maggie, Mark, Lizzie; special “family” members, Deb and Nick Lindquist; sister, Elaine McDonald, and sister-in-law, Kathleen Farley and many nieces and nephews. Joan joins in eternity her parents, Eleanor and Cy Brozek, sister, Mary Drew, and parents-in-law, Doc and Georgie Farley. Joan graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1957 and the College of St. Catherine in 1961. She was a tireless volunteer at churches, schools and with-in the community. But her treasured, and most important role, was being Pat’s wife, “the Farley boys'” Mom, and “the grands'” Grammie. Joan’s message to all of them is, “My un-conditional LOVE is with you forever.” Mass of Christian Burial is on July 22, 2019, 10 AM at Church of the Assumption, 51 7th St W, St Paul, with visitation beginning at 8:30 AM prior to the Celebration. Joan wishes all who attend to dress in their favorite bight colors because it is a celebration of life. The family wishes to extend its sincerest thanks to the caring and tenderness shown her by the hospice team of Health Partners Hospice.  They aided all of us in taking the final journey.
