Obituary of Edward Arthur Massicotte

Edward “Scott” A. Massicotte,

Age 76, of Brooklyn Park passed away surrounded by his family on July 5, 2019. Preceded in death by father Eddie Massicotte; mother, Madelyn Henry; stepmother, Teresa Massicotte. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Bonita “Bonnie” (Brynteson); sons, Earl, Randy (Jennifer), Ted (Jessie), Adam (Katie); daughters, Tina Rasmussen, Diana (Jake) Meyer, Meagan (Chris) Erickson; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Janet (Al) Faford of MA; brother, Richard (Terry) of Fridley, MN and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a friend to everyone he met and he will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Scott's home nurse, Nancy Reichel, who has worked with him for many years and helped him make it to the hospital for family to say goodbye; to the EMT's, Brooklyn Park fire, police, and paramedics who have been there through the years, especially our family friend, Pat Roepke, who responded to the final call; to Mercy Hospital staff; and to Mara Bourke for being our right hand.  

Memorial service: Monday, August 12th, 2019 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 West Broadway Ave., Brooklyn Park, MN 55428. Visitation at 10:00am, Service at 11:00am.
