Obituary of Myrtez L. Taylor

On Monday, July 1st 2019, Mitzie Taylor, loving Mother of four children, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild, passed away peacefully at the age of 87.

Mitzie was born on December 9, 1931 in Proctor, MN to Robert and Myrtez Greene. At the age of one , she moved with her family to Ontario, Canada. She raised three sons, Robert (LeClair) Martin (LeClair) and Jeffrey (Taylor) and one daughter, Nancy (Hebrink).

In 1970, she moved with her family to Minnesota and soon began a career in Eldercare. She retired after 24 years at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Wayzata Minnesota.

Mitzie had a love for nature, reading and all English royal events! Some of her greatest joy was spent with her granddaughter Andrea, grandson Jake and great-granddaughter, Taylor.

She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor and firecracker personality.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of the staff at Elim Shores Assisted Living of Eden Prairie Minnesota. For 6 years, our mother lived a blessed life because of the care and nurture by people like Nancy("2") and Pam (LuLu). We are forever indebted to their Grace and kindness.
