Obituary of Virgina "Ginger" Byrd

Virginia “Ginger” Byrd, 72, of Duluth, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospital.

Ginger was born February 15, 1947 in Virginia, MN to George and Elvie Haiman. She was employed at Essentia Health as a CMA. Ginger’s special happiness was time spent with her family and wide circle of friends also, time spent at the Sun Bay Campground. She will be missed by many.

Ginger is survived by her husband, William “Bill”; children, Gregory (Karen) and Anissa (Justin Bench) Byrd, all of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Suvi, Tuuli and Liberty; sisters, Natalie Kennedy and Wendy (Bill) Anderson; brother, Randall (Nancy) Haiman.
