Obituary of Lillian Marie Miller

Lillian Marie Miller, 89, of Silver Bay, Minnesota, died Tuesday, June 18, surrounded by family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Silver Bay with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon. Services will be followed by a luncheon. Lillian was born on April 30, 1930, in Moran Twp, Minnesota, the daughter of Anthony and Sophia (Ostrowski) Kubitza. Lillian married James (Jim) Miller on September 26, 1951. They spent the early part of their marriage in Little Falls, MN where she worked at Munsinger clothing. They relocated to Silver Bay in 1957 where she worked at the Mariner Motel, Reserve Mining and the MN Vets Home in food service. Lillian is survived by her 13 Children: Tony (Tina) of Bremerton, WA; Pete (Wanda) of Pineville, LA; Ed (Jeanne) of Cambridge, MN; Ray of Big Lake, AK; Marie Knapp (Terry) of Jena, LA; Bill (Toni) of San Antonio, TX; Ted of Sauk Rapids, MN; Ann Seanger (Mike) of Sartell, MN; Joe (Heather) of Duluth, MN; Pat (Cath) of Silver Bay, MN; Mike (Cindy) of Silver Bay, MN; Jean (Cheech) Klatt (Wayne) of Sauk Rapids, MN; Jolie Frauendienst (Jim Frassel) of Sauk Rapids, MN. 29 Grandchildren and 22 (and one on the way) Great Grandchildren. Sisters-in-law: Helen Rice and Edith Hanwell, and Many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim. Grandson: Nate Miller. Parents: Sophie and Tony. Sisters: Josephine and Dionysia. Son-in-Law: Roger Frauendienst SR.
