Obituary of Denzil Raymond Brossard Jr.

“Denny,” age 81, originally from Eden Valley, passed away at home in Minnetonka on June 12, surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by parents, Denzil Brossard Sr. and Cleo Alice Crabtree; step-father, Ralph Crabtree and nephew, Jimmy Hassing. Survived by wife of 46 years, Terri; daughter, Heidi Renee Nelson; son, Steven John (Sue) Brossard; grandson, Duane Donald Bauers; great-granddaughter, Payton Marie Bauers; sisters, Beverly (Richard) Glen and Sylvia Hassing as well as many nieces and nephews. Denny was a 40-year employee of Boustead Electric, (Local Union 292) IBEW. Denny was a loving father and husband. He so enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially trips to the casinos with his daughter and annual deer hunting trips with his son. He was blessed with many long-lasting friendships, creating countless cherished memories. He loved to work in his yard, which was always manicured to perfection. He was an amazing cook, known for his outdoor fish frys and gifts of fudge. Denny was a hardworking, knowledgeable man with a life-long passion for cars. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be loved and missed by many and will remain in our hearts forever. The family wishes to thank Park Nicollet Hospice, especially nurses Linda, Diane and Sydney. Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina MN 55435. Visitation one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Park Nicollet Hospice or St. David’s Child Development Center.
