Obituary of George Samuel Hutchings

George Samuel Hutchings died at the age of 90 on June 11th 2019 at Sunnyside Health Care Center in Cloquet, MN. He was born June 28th, 1928 in Framingham, MA, the 3rd of 6 children born to Edwin LaForest and Lucy Lydia (Littlefield) Hutchings.

George married Agnes Elena (Hysler), adopting her 2 sons, Alan L. and John S., all are deceased.

He is survived by his son Philip D. and his wife Mary L. (Hahn) Beaupre; grandson David M., and his mother Kitten A (Solem) Hutchings and wife Cheyenne R. (McAvaney) Hutchings and their two children Mason Lee and Madeline Rose; daughter in law Barbara (Humphrey) Hutchings; granddaughter Wendy M. (Hutchings) Stramiello and her two children Jake and Elly.

George leaves a lifelong reputation as an honest, generous and extremely hardworking family man who for the love of my mother, adopted and raised her children as his own.

A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Sunnyside Health Care Center for their years of dedicated and loving care.

Daddy, you were a far better man than I. Rest in Peace; your purgatory is over… Agnes is waiting. Love Philip.

There will be no service. A family remembrance and reflection will be held at a later date.
